The Parks and Trails Plan identified the location for the Ripley Dog Park by the Apple Rail Trail entrance on Park St. The Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department is excited to move forward with plans for a new dog park in Ripley. This community-driven project is an opportunity to get involved early in the process, share your ideas, and help shape a space for dogs and their owners to enjoy.
A second community meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at 6:00pm at the Ripley Apple Rail Trail entrance. At the meeting, we’ll share a proposed location change. Volunteers are also needed! If you’re interested in helping with brush clearing, organizing a spring clean-up day, or fundraising for additional park features, we’d love to hear from you. Getting involved is a great way to contribute and ensure the park’s success and longevity.
